Your photos stay with you.

Blur Me is developed by Ming Wu. Last updated October 9, 2026.

Photos and processing

Blur Me processes selected or captured photos and detected text on your device to let you cover sensitive details. Photos and detection results are not uploaded to a developer-operated server. The app does not require an account.

Permissions and saving

You choose an image using the system photo picker, or grant camera access to take a new photo. Saving an edited image uses Apple’s Photos framework and may require permission to add photos. You can manage permissions in iOS Settings.

Remove Metadata on Save exports a new image without the original GPS and EXIF information. Edited photos saved to your library are managed by Apple Photos. Your iCloud and backup settings may cause Apple to sync or back up those photos.

Data collection

The App Store listing declares Data Not Collected. Blur Me has no advertising or developer-operated photo upload service. Apple may separately process purchases, diagnostics and device information under your Apple settings and Apple’s policies.

This website and support

These pages do not include tracking scripts, forms or photo uploads. Cloudflare may process ordinary request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site. If you email support, your email address and the information you choose to send are used to respond. Do not send sensitive photos or documents.

Contact

For support or privacy questions, email [email protected]. This policy will be updated if the app’s data practices change.
